This guide provides teachers with authentic aboriginal content to integrate in their classrooms throughout British Columbia. The purpose of the resource is to give First Nation students a sense of place and belonging in the public school system as well as promote understanding of First Nations peoples among the general student population. The resource also encourages teachers to seek participation of aboriginal teachers, Elders, and other knowledgeable members from the aboriginal community. The book is organized by grade level and subject area.
